MEKAR was founded in 2010 by Putera Sampoerna and Charles Nagy. It started as a platform to match entrepreneurs with business angels.
Mekar’s business model is to offer loans to small businesses in Indonesia via a network of entrepreneur agents. These agents will be equipped with mobile devices for loan origination, monitoring and collection.
Mekar offers loans to SMEs in the range of Rp. 20 million to Rp 200 million. We offer unsecured loans up to Rp. 100 million, at competitive rates with no hidden costs. In 2016 it will relaunch its crowdfunding platform for institutional lenders. In 2017 it will open the crowdfunding platform to individual lenders in Indonesia. After loans, Mekar will offer additional services to SMEs like insurance and eCommerce.

Job Description
We are looking for web developer that wants to build our web infrastructure for our informational websites. Our WordPress websites must be built, maintained and extended.
Responsibility
- Implement and maintain the websites of Mekar based on the house styles
- Work in a process of continuous build, test, integration and deployment in full transparency.
- Create campaign websites for supporting marketing
- Be informed about the latest in technology for website development in the field
Requirement
- Fluency in English;
- Works and thinks mobile first;
- HTML / Javascript
- WordPress MU
- Buddypress
- Photoshop work
- Basic visual design
- > 5 Reference websites
